High-Peformance Architecture

Shado CMS can be arranged in a fully redundant configuration that can scale in a linear fashion. This means you don't have to worry about your site going down and if your load suddenly increases you can simply add more servers to the cluster.

With all clustering, the larger the configuration the higher the cost. This being the case Shado's cluster licensing package makes it very cost effective to cluster larger sites.

  • Database Connection Pooling:

Increase application performance and reduce database overheads by reusing pooled database connections.

  • Flexible Page Caching:

Maximize server capacity by caching dynamic pages across multiple requests.

  • Bytecode Caching:

Speed page execution with automatic in-memory caching of compiled pages.

  • Dynamic Load Balancing:

Ensure high performance by distributing application loads across multiple instances or servers.

  • Server Clustering:

Deliver high availability with automatic failover and session clustering.

J2EE Clustering

An additional level of load balancing and failover can be gained by running multiple J2EE instances of CFMX/Shado CMS on a single server.

Hardware Clustering

Shado CMS can be clustered using any number of industry standard clustering applications although we do recommend using the Zeus ZXTM Traffic Manager.
