The Shado metadata module allows custom meta data fields to be "bound" to any object in the system. Administrators can create taxonomies for the complete site enabling users of the site to quickly find information in the site and making it possible for contributors to "tag" content through easy to use taxonomy pickers.

The Shado Metadata system is based on the SOF (Shado Object Framework). Because of the extendibility and the ability to customise SOF objects, the metadata system can be modified and/or extended to further your requirements. By default, the system is configured in accordance with the Dublin Core Metadata Schema.
