As an object orientated framework developers can add new  Events, Rules and Properties to any Object, or create new objects. Objects properties can be related to other properties giving the system integrity and it is a powerful base from which to build all manner of Flex applications.  The server-side framework has been built with Adobe ColdFusion which contains native libraries that easily integrate both Flex and ColdFusion.
