Deployment Module

This is especially important when working with new templates that contain code that could cause errors on a site. Usually this involves a process of shifting a Section and all its dependencies between a site on one server to another (or a copy of the same site) on a different server.

The Deployment module allows for the migration of the following items from one server to another:

- templates
- section properties
- users (section/page owner(s))
- workflow groups
- pages
- containers
- container versions
- container content references to FMS files

The Deployment Module makes it easy to select a section of a site on their current server, connect to a remote server via a webservice, and deploy that section to that remote server's site tree.

Shado site developers (be they simply Shado administrators or actual developers) often have a need to develop their new parts to a site on a development server, and then process the "completed" work through a staging and go-live process.
